Kristen Stewart‘s next film will be entitled Cali - a sexy and gritty action-thriller scripted by Michael Diliberti - writer of the Jesse Eisenberg action-comedy 30 Minutes or Less

Cali is the story of Mya and Chris – two lovebirds dangerously attracted to extreme choices and borderline behaviour. Mya and Chris sell a fake snuff film starring Mya and leave LA with the cash – but one day they need to return to Cali to protect Mya’s baby sister

Mya – played by Kristen Stewart - and Chris will face angry former business partners, deranged porn stars, a killing machine in a cowboy hat and their biggest enemy – their twisted, rebellious and indomitable relationship

As reported by Variety, Kristen Stewart is going to executive produce Cali as well as star – other producers are Michael Diliberti, Craig J. Flores - producer of Zack Snyder‘s 300 - and Zav Foreman - producer of the William Friedkin picture Killer Joe from 2011 that starred Matthew McConaughey and Emile Hirsch

Executive producers – along with Kristen Stewart - will be Brian Levy of New School Media and Nicolas Chartier, producer of Kathryn Bigelow‘s The Hurt Locker, the Oscar winner picture set in the Iraq war and starring Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie as elite bomb squad operatives

Cali is set to be shot in the summer, and in the meantime you can watch Kristen Stewart on June 1st in Snow White and the Huntsman and on November 16 in the awaited The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2
