Steven Spielberg was so excited when he first read excerpts from Robopocalypse that he asked designer Guy Hendrix Dyas to prepare detailed storyboards as pages were being turned in by novelist Daniel H. Wilson

4. Robopocalypse is going to be filmed entirely in Montreal, Canada

2. Spectacular action and thought provoking themes will mix in Robopocalypse

1. Steven Spielberg‘s words on Robopocalypse
As reported by TimeOut, these are Spielberg‘s own words on Robopocalypse
Spielberg It’s a movie about a global war between man and machine. I had a great time creating the future on Minority Report, and it’s a future that is coming true faster than any of us thought it would. Robopocalypse takes place in 15 or 20 years, so it’ll be another future we can relate to
Spielberg continued saying that Robopocalypse is about the consequences of creating technologies which make our lives easier, and what happens when that technology becomes smarter than we are. It’s not the newest theme, it’s been done throughout science fiction, but it’s a theme that becomes more relevant every year
7films is extremely excited about this project, so call back to read more news as the production of Robopocalypse evolves
