Laura is a regular writer for 7 Films. Laura is a great fan of Russian and Soviet films: The Return, Russian Ark, A Driver for Vera, The Thief, Night Watch and Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears. Laura also enjoys animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, The Little Mermaid and Cloudy with a chance of Meatball. In terms of directors Laura loves the works of Andrei Zvyagintsev, Aleksandr Sokurov, Gregorii Chukhrai, Andrei Tarkovsky and Aleksandr Dovzhenko. Laura lives in London and is studying for an MA in Russian which you can probably gather based on her choice of favourite directors.
